Some of the survey questions may seem personal to you or make you uncomfortable. You may refuse to answer any question and still remain in the study.
ARE THERE ANY BENEFITS IF I PARTICIPATE?
You will not directly benefit from your participation in the study.
However, the results of the research study may enhance the public’s understanding of the housing crisis and the effects it has on individuals and communities.
HOW WILL INFORMATION ABOUT ME AND MY PARTICIPATION BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL?
According to Heidelberg University’s FAIR data principle (findable, accessible, interoperable, re-usable), Judith Keller guarantees that she will handle your data with care and that all personal information will be anonymized.
HOW DATA WILL BE STORED?
Study data will be electronically secured. The database will be encrypted and saved by Judith Keller to a portable hard drive and to the University’s cloud system.
PEOPLE AND AGENCIES THAT WILL HAVE ACCESS TO DATA
The principal investigator, Judith Keller, her Thesis Advisory Committee, and authorized personnel at Heidelberg University may have access to study data and records to monitor the study.
HOW LONG INFORMATION FROM THE STUDY WILL BE KEPT
Information from the study will be retained for at least 10 years after the completion of the research.
USE OF DATA FOR FUTURE RESEARCH
Data may be used in future research.
